BALI Island

Holiday last year is holiday which I waiting, because we can visit to Dewata Island. Dewata Island is other name of Bali Island.

Friday, 16 December 2011. Day still dark when I most go to school to follow study tour.

Arriving in the school  busses was already waiting for me, and I placed on the bus M4. I sat down with my friend Septi. At half seven we set out from Purwokerto to Bali. Trip to Bali took approximately one day one night. Now I’ve passed Jombang, continued to slide towards the East leads to Banyuwangi.

 In the Banyuwangi we are going the port Ketapang, Banyuwangi to defection to port Gilimanuk, Bali. We have to wait for the boat to be crossed with us.

When the ship came up immediately and find our seats. On the ship Safitri, Galuh and I of take water of wudhu and immediately our prayers took turns.

 After running the obligations we sat back down and enjoyed the ride. It two and half hours had passed us up the port of Gilimanuk Bali, we’ve been in Bali. How happy my hearth.

 Back to our bus to continued the journey and not to forget our change needle clock hands that originally at 05.45 PM, WIB now has been at 06.45 PM, WITA.

 During the trip we saw many PRETENDED, indeed the majority of the population in Balinese Hindu religion. Now at 08.00 PM, it is the we took a bath and ate in restaurant.

I would tell you three places I visited while in Bali, Kuta Beach, Bedugul and Garuda Wisnu Kencana

1.     Kuta Beach

Once a sleepy village a quiet, beautiful sweep of beach, Kuta today has become a popular beach destination in its own right, alive with tourists from all over the world, swimming, surfing or sunbathing by the beach. Others , casually dressed in shorts, T-shirts and flip flops stroll along its main road, shopping around or enjoying meals at its many open air restaurants.

With time, Kuta’s popularity grew, and shops, restaurants, discos hotel, - from the simple to the exclusive. On the b each, people enjoy parasailing, banana boat trips or swimming.  Before sunset, crowds rush to the beach waiting to watch Kuta’s legendary sunset. Sunset in Kuta is very beautiful.  

Many famous international bands and celebrities have voluntarily played and sung here enlivening the fun. Kuta Beach is very beautiful. Many people will go to Kuta Beach.

2.    Bedugul

Bedugul is the name of both a small city and a mountain-lake resort area, which Balinese have long used for weekend retreats. Bedugul is located on the main north-south road between Denpasar and Singaraja in cool damp mountain country, an excellent base for walking trips around the lakes and surrounding hills.

 Bedugul is located in a high plateau at the center of the Island. Cool air and mists are natural for the place. Bedugul is a resort in Bratan Mountains, famous for its golf course; and also the Ulun Danu. Ulu Danu is an amazing temple, which seems to have risen out of Bratan Lake 1,200metres above sea level.

There are many water sports available here are boating, water skiing, and parasailing. When the heat and humidity are get, why not escape to Bedugul. Bali's highland retreat has tucked into the crater of an extinct volcano 1400 meters above sea level. Here three lakes provide everything from recreation to the water for springs, rivers and rice fields below. Lush pine forests seem to create freshness in the air.

Bedugul is known for the quality of its fruit, vegetables and flowers. There are several places to stay near the lake and there is also an interesting temple, botanical gardens, an excellent golf course and a variety of activities on Lake Bratan itself.

3.    Garuda Wisnu Kencana

        Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a tourist area located at bukit Ungasan, Jimbaran, Bali which leads to the airport Ngurah Rai and Kuta Beach. Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a giant sculpture, depicting the magnificent lord Vishnu and a bird Garuda.

        The statue is made from a slab of metal and brass. Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue had not yet been completed in working on, because the hand Lord Vishnu is still lying on the ground around the site tour. According to the story, the hand of Lord Vishnu will soon be in pairs.

In essence the statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana has very high value of art and in need of huge funds to complete. The artist who made the statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana I Nyoman Naurta. These artists are reportedly said of finance its own sculpture.

Many will be helped or become a sponsor. Both from the Government and Foreigners. But everything is not received. Statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana will biggest in southeast asia. Garuda Wisnu Kencana, has 140 feet, high 60 feet and width of heavy 4,000 tons.

Hopefully these goals can be achieved so as to raise Indonesia name in the word.

After a fan looked at the sculptures and apparent photos, my stomach gets hungry. I saw anyone eating stalls/hawker and I bought a dumpling and young coconut ice. Finished eating our Beeline bus. Before returning home have the show paid a visit to the airport Ngura Rai.

One and a half hours had passed we at port Gilimanuk harbir came to cross to the port of Ketapang Banyuwangi. Way back noticeably faster in compere when departing. For dinner we ate dinner at local restaurant. My stomach was already filled, it feels like to sleep in a while.

 I finnaly fell a sleep when I woke up the mellifluous sound to reverberate. Now 09.30 a.m breakfast at our restaurant ambarketawang Jogjakarta. From Jogjakarta to Purwokerto takes as long as four hours.

 I enjoyed the scenery along the journey. Looked a lot of rice field, green trees towering high feels, not now we’ve been in Banyumas area, we look busy calling our parents each in ordered for pick up. At  1 pm we got to JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 PURWOKERTO beloved country, many motorcycles and cars parking in school area. Many parents who are waiting for the children, including my parents. I got in the car and back to home.
